Folly by definition is a foolish action or idea, the word absurdity and phrase "lack of sense" seem to continually arise. But what would life be like without these follies? Why not embrace these ideas and get a little nutty! This is my journal for those adventures, and along the way I hope to meet new people, take the path less traveled, have some fun, and spread the story of this sustainable journey we call life! The Tread Is In!


The great guys at Thrillhead Creations got Chaco USA to hook up a few pairs of sandals and shoes for the trip which is great! My last pair of Chacos are still going pretty strong and I got them about a decade ago, and they are the perfect touring shoe, no hot spots, you can ride rain or shine and not have to worry about soggy shoes, and at the end of the day you can dive right into the drink to cool off without wasting time to take them off. Plus I hate clipless pedals, so platforms and a good pair of sandals is what it is all about.
